What Clients Can Expect
A dedicated intake counselor with do a preadmission assessment. The assessment will provide insight to the appropriate level of care, if you need detox – it will insure medication needs & estimated timeframes, transportation needs & admission time. The intake counselor will work with you and your family to answer any questions you may have before entering our treatment program.
Upon admission, you will meet with an intake counselor and admissions coordinator to go over paperwork and address any concerns you may have. The admissions coordinator may ask additional questions to help the treatment team develop an individualized initial treatment plan and coordinate initial psychiatric, nutritional appointments and other treatment needs.
After reviewing the client handbook, the admission coordinator will orientate you to the facility, its rules, the staff and the community. Staff will be available to address any questions or concerns you may have and make sure you are comfortably situated.
What to bring
- We generally say – “Pack like you are going on vacation” for one (1) week. Bring comfortable, casual clothing – nothing with drug or alcohol references or logos, bathing suit, flip flops/sandals, gym clothes, and Toiletries (nothing containing alcohol).
- Any prescriptions/medications or supplements you are currently taking
- Insurance ID card and state-issued ID or driver’s license
- Journal if you have one

Our intake team can provide all the information required to make detox, residential and extended care treatment as accessible. Our treatment team provides scheduled updates to referents with client consent throughout treatment.
